Maegan Bean

Vice President, Finance & Accounting

Maegan Bean leads Forsite’s financial strategy and operations. She has extensive experience in energy project finance and valuation. Before joining Forsite, she was a Director of Finance at a Fortune 200 energy company, responsible for new venture financing, and a Project Valuation Manager focused on utility-scale wind, solar, and battery storage projects.

Earlier in her career, Maegan worked in aerospace, defense, and actuarial consulting, emphasizing quantitative and strategic analysis. She holds a B.S. in Mathematics and Financial Economics from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County, and an M.Eng. in Project Management from the University of Maryland, College Park.

Keith Kurtz

Vice President, Development

Keith Kurtz directs solar, battery storage, and data center project development at Forsite, backed by over 15 years of experience in renewable energy. He has held senior roles with leading renewable energy and manufacturing firms, successfully advancing multiple gigawatts of utility-scale projects nationwide.

Keith earned a B.S. in Environmental Science from Oklahoma State University and an M.S. in Applied Science from the University of Nebraska.

Kevin Day brings over 20 years of experience in the development and financing of power generation facilities across natural gas, wind, and solar sectors. Prior to joining Forsite Renewables, Kevin served as Director of Project and Business Development for the Eastern U.S. at First Solar.

He previously held leadership roles in wind energy development and finance at BP Wind Energy, founded SilverPoint Energy, and served as Director of Project Finance at Panda Energy.

Kevin holds a B.B.A. in Finance, an M.B.A., and a J.D., all from the University of Oklahoma.

Josh Smith

Vice President, General Counsel

Josh Smith leads Forsite’s legal department, drawing from in-house and regulatory experience. Prior to Forsite, Josh was the Chief Legal Officer at a utility-scale solar developer and previously served as a corporate attorney at Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough LLP and an attorney in the Enforcement Division of the Federal Election Commission.

Josh holds an LL.M. from American University Washington College of Law, a J.D. from Nova Southeastern University, and a B.S. from Florida State University.
